Teacher's Gift: A Book Birdhouse
Teachers pour out their hearts to teach our kids. Make them feel appreciated by creating a book birdhouse for them.
Supplies Needed:
Birdhouse
Book
Coordinating paper
Decoupage
Foam Brush
Embellishments
Glue gun and glue sticks
Directions:
Have your child pick out a favorite book. Tear out a few pages that you will use to decorate the walls of the birdhouse.
Decoupage any roof trim that will not be covered by the book and the base.
cut out pages to match the walls of the bird house and decoupage them on to the walls
Glue the book on the roof with the glue gun.
Decorate and embellish the birdhouse. I used a butterfly and scrapbooking sticker strips.
Sign the bottom of the birdhouse.
