Strawberry Basil Margarita

Strawberry Basil Margarita is a twist on the classic Margarita. It is a sweet and tart refreshing cocktail perfect for celebrating!  Make a pitcher of these easy margaritas the night before your party! 



Strawberry Basil Margaritas

8 servings/1 pitcher

  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate

  • 1 dozen strawberries 

  • A bunch of basil leaves

  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups tequila (gold or silver)

  1. Empty the limeade concentrate into a pitcher. Add 2 1/2 cans of water

  2. Add  2 cups of tequila. Taste to see if you want to add more.

  3. Hull the strawberries, slice lengthwise, and add to the pitcher.

  4. Roughly chop the basil to release the oils in the basil and add to the pitcher. 

  5. Cover the pitcher and place it in the fridge overnight, or for at least four hours.

  6. When you remove the pitcher from the fridge, your margaritas will be a lovely pale pink color. 

  7. Only salt half of the glass as some people might not like the salt.  

  8. Serve and enjoy!!
